Saju Studio does not collect personal information. The birth date, birth time, time zone, and sex you enter for your chart are processed entirely on your device. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
If — and only if — you purchase Pro, the payment information Google Play issues is sent to and stored on our server so we can verify the purchase. The app transmits a purchase token (a payment receipt identifier), an order number (GPA. format), and a product identifier. Alongside these, our server records the purchase state (purchased, refunded, pending, and so on), whether it was verified, the payment amount, and the created/updated timestamps; if Google also supplies an account-linkage identifier, that identifier may be stored as well. This payment information contains no personally identifying information such as your name, email, or date of birth.
The app also records, on our server, whether certain features were used — such as generating a chart, viewing a day-pillar (ilju) card, or saving a result card — keyed to a pseudonymous install identifier randomly generated on your device at install time (not an advertising ID or device identifier, and not linked to you personally). Along with feature usage, the record includes the app's language setting (Korean or English), the app version, and identifiers of the entry screens and feature menus used, and a country code derived from the connecting IP address (country level, not city); these items likewise contain no personally identifying information such as your name, date of birth, or contact details. Your birth date, birth time, sex, and other chart inputs and calculation results are never included in this record and remain processed entirely on your device. The same pseudonymous identifier is also used to determine which marketing channel (an ad, a social post, etc.) led to the install.
If the app crashes, a crash log and diagnostic information are sent to an error-reporting service so we can diagnose the failure. These contain the error message and call stack, the app version, the operating system version, device specifications such as manufacturer, model, screen and memory, the device's language and time-zone settings, the list of libraries bundled with the app, a record of app launches and screen transitions leading up to the error, and session and application-not-responding (ANR) information. They do not contain your birth date, birth time, sex, birth place, chart inputs or calculation results, nor any personally identifying information such as your name or email.
The usage statistics and marketing-attribution transmissions described above can be turned off at any time under "Send usage statistics" in the app's settings. With it off, feature-usage records never leave your device, and your chart calculation and saved charts are unaffected.
This payment information is used solely to verify payment validity, tally revenue, and apply refunds. The anonymous usage statistics above are used solely to understand feature usage and measure marketing channel performance.
Payment information is retained for the statutory retention period required by applicable law (e.g., five years under the Korean Electronic Commerce Act) for payment records. Where no statutory obligation applies, we delete it without undue delay upon your request (contact: [email protected]).
Pseudonymized usage statistics are retained for up to one year, after which they are aggregated into non-identifying summaries and the underlying records are deleted.
Server access logs (IP address, User-Agent) are retained for up to 30 days for security and incident-response purposes, then deleted.
Crash logs and diagnostic information are deleted automatically after a retention period of at most 90 days, per the error-reporting service's retention policy.
We do not sell collected information to third parties, and we do not disclose it for advertising or marketing purposes. We do rely on the following processors to operate the service, and each may use the information only for the purpose we entrust to them.
This app serves no advertising and collects no advertising identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID). It does collect the minimal pseudonymous, install-scoped feature-usage and marketing-attribution data described in Section 1; this pseudonymous identifier does not identify you personally and is not shared with any third-party ad network.
Because this app collects no personal information, it collects no personal information from children either. The anonymous usage statistics above likewise do not identify age or identity.
